Our Story
Paving runs in our blood. My father, Fernando Ortiz, began his journey in the paving industry in the early 1990s, in his early 20s, working for various paving and general engineering companies across Southern California. With hard work, dedication, and a natural talent for the trade, he quickly became a master of the paving trade, respected by peers and paving companies alike. From asphalt to concrete, he perfected every aspect of the craft, with a particular expertise in ADA upgrades, turning every surface into a work of art.
From a young age, I, Christian Ortiz, was alongside him, learning the trade firsthand, helping on jobs, and absorbing the knowledge that only years of experience can teach. At 16, I started my first role as a paving salesman, working with several paving and general engineering companies. Over the years, I built my own experience and reputation, growing alongside my father’s legacy.
Now, at 26, ten years after starting my career, we continue to learn more about the trade every day, striving to perfect it with each project. With this dedication, we founded O&H Paving, carrying on our family tradition and delivering high-quality paving solutions, ADA upgrades, and concrete work, turning every project into a testament to craftsmanship and care.
